Lydia Posted December 24, 2009 Share Posted December 24, 2009 Normally the roosting bars get a mid week hosing down but room service has been running a limited service this week and the hose is frozen so they've been left and you can imagine their state with 11 hen bums on them for several hours. Today it is a few degrees warmer than of late so out I went to tackle the build up. With my Ray Mears thinking cap on, I rubbed them in the snow and covered them with it too. My hands are now rather cold and the snow isn't exactly crisp, even and most definitely isn't white anymore, but it was surprisingly effective Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
