emchook
I have some omlet chicken netting at the back of my garden [ sometimes electrified ] and some more down the side of my right fence which acts as a run for the chooks. We have loads of foxes around and they seem to be chewing through the wire netting. I have tried plastic strimmer wire to tie up the holes and recently some garden string. Can anyone suggest something better to use .. especially for the length of netting that is sometimes electrified - I am worried that the string is going to become a fire hazard in summer ! Cheers and Merry Christmas !
Redwing
Hi Emchook, if you pm me your address I have a small scraggy bit of net I can send you which you can cut down to separate strands to mend the fence with, as its the same material it will look ok and still conduct electricity
emchook
I hadnt thought of doing that ! I have already cut one of my nets into two .. so salvaging some extras will be easy .. although these foxes keep on chewing !!!
