jackthelad
Hi I'm in the middle of building a WIR for our girls only for the missus to have a "brilliant idea" whilst I'm in the middle of construction. I've been asked to keep the Eglu on the outside of the run so it's easier for access/cleaning, but this now leaves me wondering how best to make the join between run & Eglu safe and secure. I've already been through all the various posts on the forum looking for pictures and ideas but am still struggling a bit. I am planning to have the Eglu off the ground on a table, joining on to a wire mesh panel (1-inch square holes). If any of you have managed to successfully join your Eglu's on to your WIR's I would appreciate any pictures you could show me. In return, I'll post piccies of my run (as soon as all the snow goes and I can start to build the thing.!!!)
Ain't Nobody Here
Get your OH to have a look at the link in my signature - my eglu is inside on a table with a stable door for ease of access/cleaning. It's great having the eglu at waist height so I don't ever need to bend down. Having the eglu "indoors" also makes it easier to protect from the elements - I have plastic wind/rain blinds on the run and have a plastic backed picnic rug draped over the eglu (not so easy if it were outside). atsw
There are many pictures of Eglu's attached to WIR's, this is one of my favourites Or, as ANH and I have done, you can mount your Eglu(s) inside the WIR. (guess where I got the colour swap idea from ) Andrew
