Lavenders_Blue
Little Queenie laid just one egg for us, the day after she came out of her cage. She then stopped laying which was no great surprise given the stress of moving, a subsequent moult and then the onset of snow However, at the beginning of last week I spotted a couple of 'mystery' eggs laid in the hen house and on Saturday morning I peeked in on the girls only to find Queenie sat in the nest doing her stuff! I was starting to wonder if all the stress had been too much for her and that she might never lay again, but it turns out she just needed a jolly good rest. Three cheers for Queenie!
