KateG
I found a softie in the eglu as I cleaned it out today. It could have been there for a few days (due to the height of the box I'm not able to see in to it when I put the girls in/out/collect eggs). I've checked the girls over and martine appears to have 'dirty wet knickers'. I've also noticed over the course of a few weeks that she's not as big as the others (though not really underweight). I assumed this was to do with pecking order so ensured she had access to food and water with out the others around. So, what do I do for the girl? She's out free ranging at the minute, seems as happy as normal. Do I need to clean her up?
Redwing
It might be worth bringing her in and giving her a bottom wash then keep her warm till she is dry taking the opportunity to get a warm porridge of pellets, warm water and any tasty treats inside her, she will at least feel better for a big meal and being clean if nothing else Also worm them if not up to date
