Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi All,

 

I was wondering is there anyway I can tell which one of my girls are laying

 

As I haven't got a clue who is and is not laying at the moment.

 

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

 

I've read on here,That you can use food colouring on the vents to see who's laying what egg.

Stake out the nestbox and run out to check every time someone enters or leaves , only feasible if you have plenty of time on your hands ( been there, done it ) after a while you'll be able to tell the eggs apart,I can tell all mine apart they all have slightly different shades,white specks, rough bits, different shapes, sizes etc- though I'm sure to anyone else, they all just look like eggs
