Toots
The neighbors dog got into our garden because of a broken fence. Although it was only interested in the girls and not trying to get in to them, the girls were a bit scared and flighty. Jo Jo (queen of the house and must be obeyed at all times) flapped and jumped so much she seems to have hurt her beak. I have had a close look and there is a crack which was bleeding. I have cleaned the wound and stopped all bleeding etc. Do i need to take her to the vet? She is using it not only to order me to bring more grapes but to eat said grapes and other bits etc. She is also pecking the cat flap... another way to tell me that she has run out of grapes and sweet-corn! advice welcome ... please! Patricia W
She doesn't sound too bad from your description! I'd just keep an eye on her. If there is blood the others might make it worse, so is it possible to spray it with the purple spray? Someone will be along soon with some more advice Tricia
