ibrunt
It has just started to rain and our eglu door is open. I have noticed the inside 'porch' area has started to get a bit wet. I know Chickens don't like the damp, so is it worth closing the door (even though its mid-day and they might want to get out as soon as the rain stops) or shall i just leave them as they are?? Really appreciate your help Thanks

Egluntyne
Nothing to worry about. You could put a cover such as a clear shower curtain over the run and tuck it into the roof of the Eglu so that the dorway has some protection if you fancy, but it isn't a good idea to close the Eglu door during the day, in case one of them wants to use the nest box.
