Treekeeper Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 Went to get my new chooks from a free range farm, and on the way my OH spotted some auto feeders on the end of some things that looked like metal animal feed troughs with wire over the top it was only when we got up closer that we realised it was chickens in these troughs, battery farming at its worst they weren't inside a shed so at least they saw daylight but I couldn't see any shelter either for them, Absolutely horrible!
