Leicester_H
Following on from Wolfie's research, just thought I'd post this seperately so it doesn't get lost http://www.marksandspencer.com/Dairy-Meat-Dairy-Our-Sourcing-About-our-Food-Food-Wine/b/46577031?ie=UTF8&pf_rd_r=0YNXRS3MCCQSQPXD6YAF&pf_rd_m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=46525031&pf_rd_p=475115433&pf_rd_s=left-nav-2 Free range eggs All the eggs we use in our food are free range! In 1997, Marks & Spencer became the first major UK retailer to sell only free range eggs. In 2002 we extended this policy to include the 250 million eggs we use as an ingredient in all our prepared foods – quiches, cakes, pasta, biscuits – right down to the glaze used on a sausage roll! Our 100% Free Range policy has won a Good Egg Award from leading animal welfare charity Compassion in World Farming. See http://www.thegoodeggawards.com Well Done M&S.
