Still go careful Stevie - the fox that got mine chewed, scratched etc through the actual fence itself. So not under, not over but through (at about 2'). The fence at back is double skinned.The original fence is on the field side and about 10 years ago i installed the 7ft one on the inside of it and coach bolted them both together.Its also a good quality closeboard fence (individual planks fixed to arris rails) and not cheap panels so would take an incredibly determined fox armed with a chainsaw to get in!
