ivermectin dose please

Recommended Posts

Hi, LJ,

as "E" has said it is not licenced for poultry, but I have seen it is used by many.

I bought mine for a rescued Pigeon which seems likely has shaft, or feather mite, and it IS licenced for Pidg.

I hate with a vengance chemicals, and prefer to avoid, but sometimes it IS necessary AND know how hard it is to get shot of shaft mite, and bathing a flappy pidg using flowers of sulpher not such an option

Vets DO use ivermectin on chooks as do lots, and just also to explain, I have a wheezy ex bat with air sac damage, and powders.sprays always make me nervous. :(

oh what do I have?

lice occasionally, and use Johnsons anti mite spray.

also read (anyone with knowledge) that air sac mites are killed by ivermectin. And are only detectable at postmortem, andwas just wondering if the air sac damage noise might be mites???

AND as others use this for mites and lice egenerally I thought I might give it a go....
