Last week i had a egg that wasnt sealed at the end and had like a tube of shell coming out of the unsealed end, and today i have a complete egg but it was enclosed in a strange membrain is this normal or is when of my chucks ill

How old are your girls..have they just started at POL or after the winter break...............?

It should hopefully be a one-off . I wouldn't worry unduly . It's not uncommon to get wierd eggs occasionally.

No i have had my chucks for 6 months now and they have been laying for about 4 months

I'd agree with ANH, but I asked the question as they can pop out some rather strange arrangements when they first come into lay.
