Any hairdressers out there?

Recommended Posts

A few weeks ago my daughter had highlights put into her blonde hair. She has had them before with no problems,& had the same person do them for her...in fact last time they were done so well that we made a point of the same girl doing them again.

However, this time she was advised just to get the 'T' section done, as it was cheaper that way. She even paid herself whith her own saturday job wages.

They are OK, excpt for her fringe, which is really odd looking. There are 3 horizontal stripes across the fringe where the highlights have sort of bunched up

As she has baby fine hair its pretty noticeable....

I am going to get back to the salon as soon as I can with her,but its a little way away so we haven't been able to yet,& my girl doesn't want to make a fuss.

I think it should be sorted out though.

So, what would cause this & how would a salon fix it?

And if they give me the runaround (the owner is 'a piece of work' from what I have heard),what do I then do?

My step daughter is a hairdresser and she says that the salon should be happy to fix it with no complaints and can't see a situation where there would be any. She herself has had to repair the odd juniors mistake. She suggests you ring up explaining that there seems something odd about the results of the last visit and could they have a colourist look at it.

Thanks.

I think I will have to hijack the daughter to take her there for them to see - she is desperate not to make a fuss

We would have been going anyhow next week,& I was going to bring it up then, but have in the meantime found another hairdresser we are going to try out.

OSH is right Sarah, the salon will be happy to fix it, if your daughter doesn't want to make a fuss, just tell them she just wants a few lowlights (darker bits) weaved into the fringe area to add more dimension.
