Sarahsausage Posted March 13, 2010 Share Posted March 13, 2010 I got a couple of new ex-batts, Hilda and Gwen, mid December and today is the first day I have left them in the same run as Betty and Gladys (the established girls). They're funny things, they've been free-ranging and sleeping together everynight for weeks but I've been letting Hilda and Gwen out into a separate run in the morning because of all the squabbles adn quite vicious pecking from B and G. Well today I thought it was about time they stayed together and so far there hasn't been any serious pecking! (touch wood). I'm really pleased we've got over another hurdle! There's been a bit of fronting up from Betty and a bit of squabbling but a quick squirt from the water pistol and all is calm again!
