Hey guys,

 

Been thinking about getting some quail, as I have about 4 empty quinea pig hutches and runs, i thought it would be good to put them to some use!

What humidity and temperature does the incubator have to be set at for quails eggs? And how long do the chicks have to stay in the brooder for?

 

Also the guinea pig hutch i plan to use is just a small basic one with the tun extending out of the back. Theres a hole cut into the back of the hutch thats about 10cm wide. would that be big enough for the quails to get through?

According to my brinsea guide

 

Quail 37.6 - 37.8 C 99.6 - 100F 16- 23 days incubation.
