Chucky Mama
We've used Frontline drops on our mogs for years with no problems. I'd never use anything else. However, our vet has started recommending Stronghold because apparently Frontline is becoming less effective (fleas/other nasties are becoming more resistant I guess this means). From memory, Stronghold is also a wormer. Yes, I gather a lot of vets are saying this but it is not true. Lots of vets have switched to Stronghold because you can't buy it anywhere else without a prescription so there is less competition regarding price. It will kill fleas, roundworm, hookworm ear mites, sarcoptic mange, lice & prevent heartworm but it wont treat tapeworm at all so you still need to tackle those seperately. If your cat has fleas it can easily get tapeworm as one species has the flea as the intermediate host.
The Dogmother
I've heard the same here too, and am sticking with the Frontline Combo.
