Roobaloo
The day after we got the chooks, Toph started sneezing. It's been going on for a couple of days now as I've been hunting high and low for Citricidal (resorted to Omlet shop and just had it delivered)...and yesterday she made a noise that sounded more like a cough. I've kept my ear out for noisy breathing and haven't heard anything....just the cough and sneezing...She's still bright, active and alert....and eating well. Her droppings are wetter than Suki's...but Suki has settled in a lot better. As a result...she's a bit smelly... Is it just the sniffles and being a bit stressed from changing home or should I be more concerned? I've been adding Apple Cider Vinegar to their water...but I've only just been able to confine them to the run (and therefore one source of water) so don't know if they've been drinking it. Should I continue with that or just the Citricidal? Thanks!
chick wiggle
Hi Roobaloo i think if its just sneezing, carry on with the citricidal, but if theres any strange noises from her breathing i would take her to the vets, it could be an infection and need antibiotics.
