tomas weber
I recently ordered some Layers Pellets from my local store and discovered this morning, having opened them and been feeding it for the past two days, that the reason it appears smaller is because I have been sent Growers Pellets. Is it ok to give adult hens this? They are laying well and appear ok. Will it make them fat?
Cooks
growers pellets just have more protein but wont do any harm to your laying girls, I would suggest though that you buy a bag of the layers and if you want to not waste the growers, mix them together. I fed growers and layers mixed like this all through the winter months to no ill effect whatsoever, infact they all have lovely glossy feathers and Cocoa who was a bit bald on her chest soon feathered up and now looks perfect
