tixy Posted April 17, 2010 Share Posted April 17, 2010 Hi Ive noticed for a while but its much much worse now, My hen that was broody last summer still has no feathers on her chest and now her breast is very fleshy ? and actually penulous, its enormous and hanging. She is very well in herself it seems but ive compared it to my other hens and its here chest area is totally different.I dont know if she is ill or something or there is some explanation. Look at the picture in Claret's article **here** Does she look like this? If so, maybe she has overstretched the muscles, and there isn't much that can be done.
