LuckyChickenLover-
I bought a few bags of chick crumbs from here a couple of weeks ago. There were two types of chick crumbs, some for younger chicks and some for older chicks. I bought one bag of young chick crumbs and two bags of older chick crumbs, but now I can't remember what age you change from the young chick crumbs to the older ones. I think it was :Young chick crumbs - 0-6 weeks, Older chick crumbs - 6-12 weeks, but I can't really remember . If it helps, the YCC are finely crushed up and are about 3mm in diameter, and the OCC are sort of tube shaped and are about 2mm in width and 5mm long. Thanks ~ Lucky Chicken Lover
Redwing
Chick crumb is up to 6 weeks, the larger chick food is Growers pellets and they stay on this till about 18 weeks The exception being Garvo who do a mini pellet thats suitable for chicks from day
