Daffodill
Please could I have some advise, I have just got 2 beautiful Buff Orps who are 28 weeks and have spent all their life up to now under cover. Of course they love having grass to roam on now but during the heavy rain yesterday they stayed out and didn't shelter like my other 3 so went to bed damp and were still a bit damp when they came out this morning. Now its raining again should I try and confined them to the covered run or will they eventually learn for themselves?
Redwing
If they are fit and healthy they will be fine In the winter it would be more of a problem and no they dont always learn!
coco
Three of my girls are out in the rain now and happily pottering abut looking like drowned rats, they were the same yesterday. As long as they have somewhere dry at night they will be fine.
