Couperman
I left the greenhouse door open yesterday as a start to hardening off some seedlings ready for planting out. We came home from the plot yesterday to find a baby blackbird had managed to get itself trapped and was unable to get through the invisible walls back to mum and dad. It had helpfully rogued out a few week cabbage seedlings and fertilized a few it liked. Anyhow I managed to catch the little fella and reunite him with his family He just sat on the floor quite for a while so I had to stand guard and prevent any cat interference, ours is useless but the one next door is a prolific hunter. I am pleased to say I have just seen him out for his flying lessons with mum again, bless. (the baby bird that is not nextdoors' cat) Kev.
