Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

Just to say that after fine weather and no sign of Foxy Loxy for a manyweeks, today at 5.30pm (broad daylight - semi rural) a fox came into our garden as bold as brass...fortunately following my "no supervision no free ranging policy" my girls were safely in their Eglu run at the time...(lately my husband has been saying it is unnecessary to be so vigilant..so when the fox entered the garden with us all looking at if from the kitchen at the time there was an "I told you so" point score from me )

 

Anyway this is just posted to remind everyone..there is NO safe time in your garden - !!

Im so relived your girls didnt get hurt.

i had four young foxes in my garden last night, ive got to say; never leave your girls un supervised, its the worst thing ever hen you loose one hen, i cant imagaine loosing 9.
