Misscherryskull Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Hiya........been a while since i've had a question, was a bit mad with all the questions when ifirst got my chickens who by the way are stll going strong a year later I bought what i thought was layers pellets from my pet shop, he didn't have brand i usually use so gave me another brand, i opened it today & its a powder meal with corn through it & i've contacted pet shop & waiting on reply but as i've no pellets i have to give the chickens this stuff so whats the best way to feed it to them i have given them it dry but they're just picking the corn out . chickyhazel Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 One of our friends who used to have chickens put corn with their layers and they do pick out the best bits! I would see if you can get layers from another pet shop asap - sudden change can upset chickens and stop egg laying, and cause stress.
