2009 Omlet cube and run for sale

I have just got my CUBE after a really long search. HOORAY Hopefully we will get our girls tomorrow if it is all set up in time.

 

I'd like the experience of wisdom. Is it any better to set it on grass (we have a relatively small area) but we could then move it around that area as and when necessay around 3 or 4 positions. Or is it better to give it a fixed position on a bed of wood chips (or the like) that would then need cleaning. So I suppose its moving wrecking the area particularly in the winter verses cleaning and disinfecting the area. Has anyone tried both and an opinion to give. Or is it a silly question and personal preference. Ideally I'd like as an easy life as possible

Hi - Ive just got a cube and have moved it once and being bigger than the eglu it does wreck a larger area. I've decided to keep it on grass through the Summer and then have a permanent base with aubiose/shavings in the winter if that helps

If your girls are spending most of the day in the cube and run you would be better off having a fixed position. I move my cube around on grass but have a large area and they only spend about 1/2 hour in the run as they are out all day.
