I didn't realise beans were bad.... Mine have often had the last few in a packet chopped up in their porridge...

 

Or do you think it means beans as in Kidney Beans, rather than Green beans?

 

(Why is it, when the English language is so vast, there is still confusion over different things being called the same name...?)

They're not. It does say green beans are fine.

It also says any beans are fine as long as they are well cooked and not dry.
