Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

One of my girls has started laying mishaped eggs. Long thin eggs, eggs with weird ends and so on. Is it a sign that something is wrong?

This happened with my gingernuts when they got to about 18 months-2 years, and it was just an indication that they were reaching the end of their laying career. You could try oystershell or limestone flour to add calcium, but if the shells are hard enough, then I'd suspect that perhaps it's just their age.

One of my ex batts Lola lays sone odd eggs, i think she's coming to the end of her laying days, she deserves the rest.
