came home this afternoon Daisy my min silver appleyard no where to be seen Donald just wandering round quacking, i was getting quite worried till i spotted her in the shed sitting on her nest thought it was not going to happen this year as up to now has not shown any interest, hope she does not change her mind, i`m to excited other half thinks i am nuts. do i need to do anything or just let them get on with it on there own. poor Donald is looking very lost as they stick to each other like glue

I would leave her to it but dont get to excited as she may change her mind some ducks make terrible mums how many eggs is she sat on and how old are they my ducks sometimes go back in to lay their eggs in the afternoon and then are back to normal in the morning good luck leanne.

she is sitting on about 12 eggs oldest approx 2wks

when i went to close them up for the night she flew at me so she has changed but i know there is a chance she could change her mind, after all she is a female lol
