Hello

i have 6 girls that have started laying.

But effy went broody, then jon. Jon has got over the broody stages, but effy hasn't.

now Jon, edward, and rita have stopped laying, now just getting 2 eggs a day from Betty my warren and one of my pekins, blanche also lays.

But i dont know why the other three have stopped?

They're fine in themselves. Eating, Drinking and walking around munching happily, but no eggs.

there all crouching when i go near, too.

Have you stopped giving them treats, so that they are just having pellets? Sometimes too many yummies can stop them. Also worming them can sometimes help....

2 of mine have gone broody and the other 8 have really cut down on the eggs too.

 

I don't think they like having the nestbox blocked up
