MedusA Posted June 1, 2010 Share Posted June 1, 2010 On 12th May, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham visited Court Lane Allotments to officially open our Community Garden. 3 local schools have vegetable beds there and we also have one raised bed for disabled access. The Mayor was really fascinated about our bee project and spent a good while chatting to me about bees. We even went in the apiary for a photo or two. Fortunately the bees were on their best behaviour and "Ooops, word censored!"ody got stung. I know I'm not the tallest person in the world but I look incredibly short in this pic.
