bamboobutton
Hi Hope someone can help because i have run out of ideas of what can be wrong with my chook! she is a light sussex and is about 32 weeks old and for the last 2 months she has had a dirty bottom but her poo looks normal, no diarrhoea, and has stopped laying. i wormed with flubenvet about 2 weeks ago and her bum got better for a while but now it is dirty again and i have noticed her tail is now droopy and kind of flops to the side. she is eating normally and drinking and happily runs around the garden pecking and scratching. anyone have any ideas??? worms that might need something stronger than flubenvet perhaps? treat them all for worms with flubenvet again? TIA
Egluntyne
I have a hen with a wonky tail, as you describe. As she seems otherwise well, it is probably nothing to worry about. You could worm her again in a week or so. Could she be laying her eggs in the garden, causing you to think that she has stopped?
