VickyChick Posted June 2, 2010 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Two adorable new chicks have hatched 2 days ago in the nesting box with 'fatty' the Buff Orpington (black with yellow tuffts on their heads). I have two other chickens in the garden, one of them has been franticly trying to get into the seperate shed where the chicks and mother are. The mother doesnt seem to pay any attention to the other chicken trying to get in. I was just hoping that someone could explain to me why she is trying to get in and also how to stop it ?
