My 4 week old light sussex chick this morning has a bad leg, it's turned outwards and is swollen at the joint, she is still eating and drinking and doesn't seem unhappy but is there anything I can do, is it broken? julusc Posted June 6, 2010 Author Share Posted June 6, 2010 thanks for replying, well I took her to the vets and they wanted her put down to begin with and said there was nothing they could do, and I really would of done if I thought for one second she was in pain but She's playing and scratchng around with both legs and eating loads and doesn't seem uncomfortable so we agreed to give it a couple of weeks and see what happens???????
