chickenlady
Help needed....I have today ordered my new girls and very eggcited . First two coming on the 25th the day after my cube the second two are not hatched yet so due end of August. Not ideal I went for a mix of bantums, Gold Lace Orpington, Whiteish Marsh Daisy (she has a little brown on her chest), Salmon Peking and Pyle Red Peking! Had a couple of questions. They will be about 10 weeks so was wondering when it is safe to start adding garlic powder (if the come on growers pellets who you do this) ? Whether they will be able to work out the Superglug or do I need to offer a different water container? Any tips for adding the new girls at the end of August ? Sorry if they are numpty questions Thanks Nikki
Mollie333
You mean ''Pekin'' If you already have girls and you are going to introduce them, they should see the older girls drinking from the glug and hopefully join in, if not, get a heavy dish of water, so it cant be nocked over. As for the garlic i put it in when my girls were on growers pellets. Goodluck. M

Guest
Just to say congradulations and your Marsh Daisy is most likely a Wheaton Marsh Daisy. They are beautiful bird when fully grown.
