Unsecure chicken perches

Lavender has developed brown-coloured blotches on her comb and wattles.

 

She has had a bald patch on her underside for about 8 months which we put down to moulting.

It's in the brooding area from her vent forward to under her breasts.

Despite this she's very active, although she's a messy pooper, often staining her bum feathers (what's left of them).

We wash the area and remove the matted bits.

 

I understand I've discussed two conditions, but could they be symptoms of the same disorder?

 

We'd appreciate any comments on either condition... (We've only noticed her comb discolouration today.)

That's interesting as there's no evidence of bullying.
