We are about to build our WIR!, materials arriving Friday, base in ready for construction

 

I was wondering if any one has any reccomendations for large sun shades? My omlet one has finnaly given up the ghost and the new run will be in full sun most of the afternoon. I seem to remember there was someone on ebay ages ago who was selling large tarps with the hooks attached in all different colours, but I cant find them anywhere?

 

Anyone know where I can get a decent cover?

We get large covers from the garden centre. You know, the type of sheet you buy to collect up garden leaves, etc. with loops for handles. We use the loops to secure the bungies. Maybe you could also check out camping shops for ground sheets?

Tarps should have holes in each corner and along the sides normally

 

If you get a tarp and some 'ball bungees' it should look pretty neat

 

Another option is debris netting, this is good stuff as its cooler under it but wont keep the rain off
