Anyway i only have 3 bantams, and hopefully some chicks in a couple of weeks. So i need some more chooks, Do you think i could fit in another 5 banties? I have a WIR about 12 mt sq??? ISCA Posted June 21, 2010 Share Posted June 21, 2010 The minimum recommended space for a LF hen is 1 meter square, so your WIR has space for 10 and a Cube is OK for housing 10 as well. As you have banties and not LF I would have thought up to 12 would be OK BUT the more space they have the better so I would think 8 is perfect in that set-up I would certainly get more if I were you Three will get lost in all that space!!!
