Unsecure chicken perches

I did a bit of deadheading this morning and contemplated doing some weeding of an over run bit of border - but just could not be bothered. So I moved the netting, put chicken wire round the plants/shrubs I don't want removing and the girls are doing it for me.

 

Is this akin to sending children up chimneys and down mines? Hope not as I do not feel one iota of guilt as they are making a much better job than clearing that little area than I ever could.

It's just clever gardening...I plan to do the same with my girls onces the veggies are over and done with!!
