Recipie for Rhubarb Crumble?

rhubarb crumble base is a doddle :D:D

 

chop rhubarb into small (about 1inch) chunks, peel it first if it looks like it needs it :D

 

put into pan with a bit of sugar - it doesnt need any water, but i always wash it first - just in case...

 

simmer it until its all soft and, well, like a crumble base (see baby food :lol: ) check the sugar content, keep tasting it!! -but beware, cos its gonna be hot.

 

add stuff to it to taste :D .

weve done, rhubarb and stem ginger, rhubarb and powdered ginger, seriouslty considering rhubarb and mango, cos ive got a tin of pureed mango that someone got me from spain (or somewhere like that)

 

crumble topping is easy too

for the whole rhubarb crumble thing
