beach chick Posted July 20, 2010 Share Posted July 20, 2010 I was getting pretty anxious about intros to be honest, but had to do something today because I thought George was going to escape his solitary confinement in the rabbit ark, and therefore I needed the tortoise cage for him. started off by putting 2 new girls into the eglu/run with John and Pauline; no problems at all. Then put George in with the other 2 new girls, but he has absolutely no finesse and freaked them both out with his amorous advances! so George is now back in secure solitary, awaiting the arrival of some new ladies; and all 4 new girls are in with John and Pauline. John has um, 'greeted' them all in his own special way and after a bit of skittishness they are now a very happy troop of 1 boy and 5 girls. Pauline in particular seems delighted to be able to share her marital duties... George, meanwhile, is pacing up and down with frustration, so I've moved him a bit further away to await his harem (and the rabbit run which will come later this week). Phew, what a relief! the two colonies will now be known as Mr & Mrs Prescott and the girls; and George and Mildred and the girls Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
