Mincepies Posted July 30, 2010 Share Posted July 30, 2010 A recent integration of two younger hens to an older group of three was going well until tonight - on being rounded up into the run earlier than usual, head chicken Beyonce flew at spirited youngster Frango, pecking her very hard in the head near her eye. Frango's eye/side of her head is now swollen and she's clearly not feeling very happy, being a bit hunched and quiet. They're all in the coop, older girls on top perch, younger ones in their usual positions on the lower perch, but am not sure if should bring her indoors, or if there is anything can do about the swelling?
