mummy cluck
we brought 6 new pol 18 week old girls last sunday....was advised to put them in the house then at dusk let my other girls in to roost. Let them all out in the morning and all hell let loose . well 1 week on and things are still a bit dodgy ...with my old girls being very bossy and sometimes very vicious . Anyway just wanted to tell you all that last monday afternoon one of the new girls ...a fenning black layed an egg . It was quite small... not much bigger than a pidgeons egg and has continued to lay each day! First day and an egg...what a result
mummy cluck
yes we are taking good care of the new girls . We are watching them like hawks so the old girls dont hurt them, but i dont think i will ever try to introduce new chickens again.....didnt realise chickens could be so horrible .
