scarlettohara
The new little babies have settled in well, eating, drinking, playing and sleeping like all good babies, was very relieved when I got in from work last night at 10.45 that they had put themselves to bed with their teddy and when checked were lovely and warm The older babies had done the same and were all snuggled on top of each other - they are finally integrating This am I had 2 hours training for my new job and when I got back I cleaned the chooks I am looking after for a neighbour and left them with a big bowl of mash, poultry spice and veg as they are a bit pecked and hardly laying I let them fr while I cleaned their coop and they enjoyed excavating the flower borders (I did clean up). So then it was my girls turn and for the 1st time I let the big babies out to fr with the big girls - it went really well, the only peck and chase came from Beetle the skyline who is bottom 2nd in the pecking order but after a few bellows from me she got the message Fifi got very excited by a worm she found, ran off with the others banties following - I think she was a bit disappointed when it turned out to be a bit of old poo I am a happpy chicken mummy
