Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Sorry, that's Unidentified Fungus Objects! I've just been mowing my lawn (what a way to spend a day off!) Anyway, I noticed that there a quite a few toadstool/mushroom/fungus "things" growing in the grass. I don't know what they are, but can I trust the chucks not to eat them? Iv got rid of as many as I found, but they grow so quick, don't they?

We get a lot of white mushroom/toadstool kind of things grow in our lawn. I have always assumed they are harmless as the dog digs them up and eats them and they haven't done her any harm.
