Tracy Howes Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 I had thought that one of my chickens - Spec- was broody again, but now i'm not so sure. She wants to sit in the nest box all time and has stopped laying. But now I've noticed that her comb has shrunk and gone a bit black, and her face is a little black too. I've checked the others and one of them is starting to show signs on her comb too. She hates being handled anyway so i haven't checked the rest of her. I've had a look through the site to see if i can find anything that resembles this but can't - does any one have any ideas of what might be wrong, or what to do about it?
