chuckmum6
Just managed to resist the huge temptation to get more lovely chickens! We have a show in our village each August bank holiday and there is a paddock which has some rare breeds. Last year my children went off in search of lego and came back with a partridge Pekin and a blue laced Wyandotte hen each after visiting the paddock!!!!! I went and had a look today and was very very tempted, but I had only just managed to rehome my cockerel grower on Saturday so that helped temper my desire. They has Frizzles, Silkies, Pekins all sorts, including some lovely millefleur, Light Sussex, and some 'mixed' varieties. So despite my children pleas I held fast, although I could have happily had a couple, oh well there is always next year (or the Rare breed show on the 11th Sept in our local town Melton Mowbray). chuckmum6
Probably still need to hold off and be strong again, until we move to a house with more land
