Unsecure chicken perches

Just curious can l change there food? If so can I do it over night or slowly?

I changed overnight (the other way) and then read you were meant to do it gradually . Mine didn't read that in the manual though, as they were very happy with the change.

I changed from mash to pellets overnight. At first the girls were only pecking at it but once I stopped the treats etc they were soon tucking into the pellets. I found that the egg laying improved as well.
