amanda strutt
Hi I originally had two lion head lops, who were together from birth but from different litters. Sadly I lost one to illness. I purchased a new baby to keep the other company, I introduced them slowly, in separate runs etc allowed them to go into each others hutches etc for two weeks. I purchased an iglu for them both to use together, but am still scarred to confine them without supervision as the baby seem quite scarred of the bigger boy who is now 18 months old, the baby being just 12 weeks. There has beenno fighting but the older boy does chase the baby at times and the baby does stamp his foot and run as if frightened. Please advise if this is normal behavious and will it be safe to confime them together? I would be devasted if I found either injured. Thanks Amanda
FruitandNutCake
What sex is the new baby? It is inadvisable to combine males - especially if un-neutered. It sounds from your post as if your baby is male - I would definitely keep them separate.
