mrs chook
Discovered this morning two (99% sure) molehills Wondering what to do as fear chooks would go for surfacing mole and know moles have a NASTY bite on them. So, basically probably need to protect them from each other Has anyone else had this happen??
Steve the Gas
Imo - if the mole sufaced and you have a few hens- that mole wouldn't stand a chance. Instead of frog rugby/tug of war it would be mole mayhem.
chicken bark
Lisa - I've not got mole hills in my chicken run although I don't know how I've not as I've got mole hills everywhere else. What Steve says seems right to me. I'd have thought a flock of girls would take on a mole no problem. You could try getting one of those sound mole repellants that might help but I am sorry to say in my situation we have had to resort to getting the mole man in.
